        If arriving from East:
  • Go straight through first set of traffic lights
  • Turn left at next set of traffic lights onto Cathedral St.
  • Take next left into Cathedral Street car park (public parking 60p per hour)
  • The Medical Block is located directly opposite this car park
       If arriving from West:
  • Turn right at traffic lights lights onto Castle Street
  • Go straight through next set of traffic lights
  • Turn right at next set of traffic lights onto Cathedral St.
  • Take next right into Cathedral Street car park (public parking 60p per hour)
  • The Medical Block is located directly opposite this car park

By train:

  • The nearest stations are Glasgow Queen Street or High Street (local trains) or Glasgow Central. 
Taxis:
  • Please ask the driver to take you to the Medical Block on Castle Street next to the old A&E department.
By Bus:
  • First Bus numbers 11, 12, 38, 56 and others serve the Royal Infirmary

Location within Glasgow Royal Infirmary:

  • Enter Hospital grounds via Castle Street entrance (next to old A&E department)
  • Enter hospital building via first entrance on right (Haemophilia & Thrombosis Centre is located at this entrance)
  • Take first left, go down one flight of stairs to basement
  • Bio-Imaging Centre is on right, at bottom of stairs
